A Quick Glimpse of Corfu

Corfu is a crescent-shaped island off the coast of mainland Greece just south of Albania.  We spent most of our time there at the Achilleion, built in 1890 by the Empress Elizabeth of Austria and now a museum, but we also saw the old town of Corfu (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site).  Photography in general on this trip was a little challenging; most of the museums and other indoor stops didn't allow flash (or enough time for time exposures), and the exterior locations were actually blessed with a little too much light, particularly in the middle of the day.
